Mission Statement:
To grow into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ through sharing and living our Catholic faith and tradition.
CathSoc is a tertiary students organisation encompassing all the various Catholic tertiary groups.
Our aim is to encourage and give the opportunity to students at the tertiary level to be part of the Catholic community, be they at Varsity, Teacher's College, Polytech or any tertiary institutes.
We work closely with the Catholic university chaplains and are also part of the Combine Christians Group (CCG) at the University of Otago.
We welcome you to participate and get involve in the Catholic student side of life. It presents as a good opportunity to meet like-minded people, to grow in faith in a supportive environment and also to create a network of friends. All are welcome, Catholics and non-Catholics alike. Feel free to drop into any of our meetings. We believe that you will find us non-threatening, diverse, and caring bunch of people.
